Snowshill Alpacas was established in 2002 and has grown to become a herd of over 300. We breed both huacaya and suri alpacas (approximately 80% of the herd is huacaya).
Although we are concentrating our breeding programme towards the darker colours, we also have superb quality white and beige alpacas. Snowshill alpacas is situated high up on the North Cotswold hills, close to the picturesque village of Snowshill.

We have the full range of alpacas for sale, from very attractive pets to top show quality breeding girls and stud boys. We also have a large choice of stunning stud males available to service your girls at affordable fees. If you are looking for alpaca products, we have a selection of natural alpaca fabrics made in the UK from the fleece of our own herd.

The British Alpaca Society (BAS) currently has 1500 members representing 45000 alpacas spread in various densities all over the UK. We have regional groups from west Wales to East Anglia and from Lands End to John O’Groats.
The BAS is a membership society dedicated to the welfare of alpacas and the education of their owners in the UK.
The BAS, via its regional groups, provides information, support and events for alpaca owners, breeders and all those interested in alpacas. The Society keeps its members up to date with all alpaca news and initiatives in the UK.
