Halter Show
All the entries are in and it’s shaping up to be another fantastic showcase for UK alpacas with over 500 entries.
We are delighted to be running a tandem judging system this year and welcome Jude Anderson and Natasha Clark from AAA who will be judging alongside Roger Clarke and Nick Harrington-Smith, our UK BAS judges
Running Order
The Halter show judging starts on Friday afternoon and finishes on Sunday afternoon with the Supreme Championships and awards for the most successful breeders at the show.
Small, Medium & Large Breeder Competition
We are running the Breeder Competition again this year with one important change: the competition will be split into Huacaya breeders and Suri breeders. We will be making awards to the best Small, Medium and Large Huacaya Breeders at the Show and Best Small and Large Suri Breeders at the show (as there are fewer Suri breeders). See the full competition details below:

This is open to young people and will be judged across 3 classes: 3 to 6 yrs, 7 to 14 yrs and 15-18 yrs. Classes will be held in the Main Ring on Saturday lunch time at circa 13:30.
Entries can be made in advance by emailing nationalshow@bas-uk.com or at the show itself – just ask at the Halter Show desk.
