Affiliate Training on Saturday 17th October 2026.
A fun and hands on course for anyone interested in owning alpacas or new to alpacas. We provide the foundations to start or improve your alpaca journey.
We aim to spend as much time as possible getting hands on with the alpacas, from participating in feeding time to learning how to physically check the health of the animals.
Refreshments and lunch are included.
We will be covering Modules 1-5
Module 1: Feeding and Basic Management
Module 2: Vaccination, Supplements, Illness and Ailments
Module 3: Fitting a head collar
Herding and Catching
Basic Halter Training
Module 4: The Alpaca: What to Look for
Module 5: Shearing Day
