02 Bozedown Finishing Touch- Opens Mon 2nd Feb

Get ahead of the curve and be among the first to welcome BOZ Finishing Touch progeny to the ground in 2027. Finishing Touch represents the pinnacle of Bozedown breeding — the culmination of many years of dedicated, considered genetic advancement. He is truly the cherry on top of a meticulously layered breeding programme, driven by our constant pursuit of the ideal alpaca: perfectly balanced conformation combined with sublime fleece quality.

His pedigree is packed with an exceptional depth of proven genetics, many of which have produced multiple champions and are champions in their own right. Both his maternal and paternal lines are rich in animals that have made a significant impact not only within our own herd but across the national herd over many years. Almost his entire lineage has featured in our show team at some stage, boasting multiple Supreme Champions alongside a long list of Champions and Reserve Champions. Influential names within his pedigree include Galaxy of Bozedown, Bozedown Comet II, Jolimont Reagan of Bozedown, Jolimont Rodrigo 2 of Bozedown, Bozedown Ascendant, Bozedown Icon, Bozedown Avaline, Bozedown Rembrandt II, and CCNF Talon (USA).
Finishing Touch’s sire, Bozedown Generation Now, did not enter the show circuit until he was a senior male, since when has enjoyed outstanding success. His 6th and 7th fleeces at the Heart of England Fleece Show in 2024 and 2025 both achieved scores in the 80s, and he was awarded Judge’s Choice Huacaya Fleece in consecutive years. He also won the Light Sires Progeny class at the 2025 National Show, further cementing his credentials as a premium producer.

Particular attention should be given to his dam, Bozedown Just Dance, an Ascendant champion beige female and an exceptionally reliable breeder. She has produced multiple crias that we are delighted to retain within our core breeding herd. Her 2022 son, Bozedown Trail Blazer, is a multiple Champion male who went on to win the Champion of Champions at the 2024 fleece show and is now proudly owned by Ballymac Alpacas.

BOZ Finishing Touch himself is a striking light fawn male with excellent balance and a strong, correct frame. His fleece displays outstanding uniformity of micron across the secondary fibres, with remarkable consistency both within the staple and across the entire body. His primary fibres are well integrated and do not protrude from the secondaries, reflected in his very low SD and CEM. These traits translate into an exceptionally soft handling fleece with no visible transition line combined with excellent density. We believe that BOZ Finishing Touch has the potential to raise any breeding programme to the next level.

Finishing Touch will be retained as an in-house stud male and will not be included in our general list of outside stud services. Opportunities to utilise this exceptional male will be extremely limited and offered only by special arrangement, ensuring his genetics remain both exclusive and highly sought after.
