25 Putjade Quantum of Solace- Opens Mon 23rd Feb

Putjade Quantum of Solace is a striking leopard appaloosa, perfectly matching our own definition of an appaloosa being truly ‘spotted from head to toe’, with an even and well-balanced distribution of contrasting spots across the body. Quantum is conformationally correct, with a pleasing head type and outstanding fleece coverage.

Despite being an appaloosa, he displays excellent uniformity between colours, and we are delighted to have introduced a male with such an advanced fleece. His fleece demonstrates impressive staple length, fineness and density, making him a particularly exciting addition to our stud lineup.

Genetically, Quantum is sired by NZSummerhill Leopard Toros Rolex of AVF (Imp), an imported New Zealand male. His dam is sired by Lavender Park Tulley (Imp), a name that needs no introduction within the industry.

Quantum has a lovely temperament, and eagerly began his working career in summer 2024, achieving a 100% fertility success rate in his first season. In the first crop of cria here at Natterjack Alpacas, he has already sired two striking appaloosas. All of which display his excellent frame and notable fleece characteristics.

As of January 2026, Quantum has shown no susceptibility to either external or internal parasites, adding yet another positive attribute to an already impressive and well-rounded male. This is a male not to be missed by breeders with a serious interest in producing high-quality appaloosas.
