To kick off events!

We will be holding a Fibre Clinic in conjunction with Art of Fibre on Saturday 1st July 2023 at Pinnacle Alpacas 9:30am – 4:30pm where there will be a presentation by Paul Vallely covering:

• Understanding Fibre Test Reports
• Relating Fibre Test Data to actual fleece  and using the information for your breeding programme.
• Skirting fleece with practical demonstrations to improve the commercial value.
• Additionally, your fleece samples can be brought for testing on the OFDA 2000 machine.

 
This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet other breeders and to understand more fully why and how to test your fleeces and using the information in your breeding decisions.

We will also show you how to noodle fleeces, ready for fleece shows and/or processing!

This opportunity is open to all but we especially hope that breeders in South East and the Southern region of the UK will want to come along!
