Feeding
Suitable nutrition should always be provided
- Alpacas require grazing and/or hay all year round.
- Wet and mouldy/rotting hay must be removed immediately.
- Alpacas are usually fed supplements every day to ensure adequate vitamin and mineral intake.
- Feeding should be regulated according to the nutritional need of your alpacas, e.g. lactating females and weanlings may need extra supplementary feed.
